As our usual practice every year, someone will be the one who arrange the visiting journey throughout the Chinese New Year period

And we had whole day of visiting journey in the following day

I couldn't spend more time with my friends as my family and I departed to Kota Kinabalu on 27 January 2012

We had planned to go Desa Farm and Kundasang (including the Kinabalu Park) on the way to Kota Kinabalu

However, we couldn't make it as we faced bad weather all the time

Hanging out to shopping mall in the city and also DRINK!!!

I have to admit that I drink every night since I arrived Sabah before Chinese New Year

Of course I didn't drink much~

Say HI to a tower of Heineken!!!

We changed our plan to Nexus Resort Karambunai instead of Sapi Island

Well, it is a beautiful resort and ideal for relaxation

We were not allowed to swim here as it only reserved to Resort's guests

Precious moments that I had been waiting for a year

Chinese New Year and also the time our family gather once a year

Back to my lovely hometown - Sandakan

As usual, the ex-schoolmates and me started our visiting journey on the 1st day of Chinese New Year

And first station would always be Ade's house

Really happy to see all of us gathered again as I was unable to make it last year

And Ade's mom still remember me as "华语仔" =.=||

I think it is because I speak Mandarin???

Then, Jia Tian's house and followed by Hing's house...

3 of them were my neighbors ages ago for many years

Indeed, we knew each others more than 10 years

Sister and brother-in-law joined us only on the first day of the Chinese New Year

Morning of the second day of Chinese New Year

We were headed to Fishboat Street for our breakfast

Here's where my family will come for breakfast every Sunday

It shows how delicious of their food

After that, we were heading to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary

We had a small team lunch among our Hong Kong team at company's lounge

Basically, we had team lunch monthly

But this time a little bit different

We had gift exchange session and...

delicious turkey, spaghetti, and sandwiches (prepared by me)

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to have any photo snapping in our company

Hence, I only can show you what I received from company and my colleague.

The exchanged gift from my colleague is little pooh bear umbrella and Hershey's Kissess

While Famous Amos cookies from company, each of us got one~

Received a call from my old friend, Lee

He asked when is my convocation =.=

In fact, I just had my Degree convocation on 4th Dec 2011

Silently...Quietly...

No blame to my friends as I did not really spread out "Hey, It's my convo!!!"

My pleasure as my parents flied over from Sabah to Kuala Lumpur

Purposely to witness their youngest son stand at the stage as a Degree holder

They missed my Diploma convocation two years ago

Now they are here for me!!!

We had only 18 of Degree holders (combined by Tourism & Hotel)

Many of our ex-coursemates did not turn up anyway

Treated it as my last convocation

The convocation fee was expensive but I really enjoyed with my friends

A BURNED Trip to Sabah {Part II}

It's time to update my Day 2 of my Burned trip

Day 23 . Month October . Year 2011

Headed to Kinabalu Park as our first destination

Here is where Mount Kinabalu Summit Trail begins

Trying to show off my BURNED arm and little muscle

I know it is not OBVIOUS but it is!!!

We were unable to see Mount Kinabalu as the weather has changed during our way to the destination

Without Mount Kinabalu, we only snap few photos inside the Kinabalu Park

LEAVE NOTHING BUT FOO-US

Next, we proceeded to visit the legendary farm - Desa Farm

Have you ever seen diary cows?

A real diary cow in front of you?

Let's us show you...

Diary cows are really exist here!!!

I thought its could be found in overseas only

I was WRONG!!!

We were happy to see cows in black and white

Were like Smurfs visit New York

We were so excited

And they are always extremely SMELLY

After a half day trip at Kundasang, we headed to Kinabalu city for lunch

We took a rest at my brother's place before sending Ning to airport

Playing around with NoNo

He is still very charming!!!

And...the X'mas Boy - Valen

He has all of our essence

I really tried to take photos with him but...

He was not cooperative

He actually support Chelsea =.=

Our third day was actually busy with packing our luggage

SaSa ended her Sabah trip on third day and I continued my journey back to my hometown - Sandakan

Thank you especially Siang who was spending his time and money

Brought us to islands and Kundasang with no complaints

He is "brother" enough really

If I were lady, for sure...I will dig my heart to him

I must do something for him!!!

A BURNED Trip to Sabah { Part I }

Sorry for abandoned J-Station for more than ONE month

Hopefully YOU are still here for me~

It was a trip that I had waited for long LONG time

Happened on...

Day 22 . Month October . Year 2011

Kota Kinabalu - the capital of Sabah

As planned, headed to Sapi Island, Manukan Island and Manutik Island

Here was where we purchased our tickets and equipment rentals

-Jesselton-

Be frank, Jesselton Point is the prettiest and clean port I've ever seen

Departed from Jesselton Point to our first island - Sapi Island

Siang, SaSa and Ning

It was our first time been here except Siang

"Wah..." was my first impression

Crystal clear blue sea

If you love Sun, Sea and Sand, here is where you should visit!!!

Of course you may find some water-sport activities on these islands

But we chose to snorkel in Sapi Island

Do you realize the sea color?

And also..Jumping is a MUST for Jumping KING

We were trying so H.A.R.D to jump a LOVE shape

It was SO SO difficult (especially for Siang)

Shh...He really tried so HARD to jump

We have no LOVE at all~

Yer..Naked Siang~~

Hahaha..

Headed to Manukan Island as our second island trip

Manukan Island is the biggest island among the 3 islands

And here is where tourists rest~

There are stalls selling lunch as well

Manukan Island is more commercialize compared to another two islands

Quite disappointed with its beaches which full with dead coral reef

Therefore we've chose to play water-sport activities here

Parasailing!!!

It costed us RM150 per couple after discounted

It might considered expensive but worth enough as we have never tried that before

"ARHH~~~"

I didn't SCREAM I swear!!!

But I was nervous..Just little~

Time UP!!!

Departed to last island - Manutik Island

Obviously we were tired after two islands except HIM!!!

Her Graduate Trip With ME

Finally we had completed our first ever Malacca journey as promised long time ago

Two of us departed to Malacca and it took approximately 2 hours journey

Our purpose of this trip wasn't about historical sites in Malacca

But was all about F.O.O.D

Of course we had done all the research via internet and Google map really helped a lot

We were not going for simple cuisine but special and highly rated online

W.E. versus F.O.O.D

(Right opposite the public toilets)

Actually it was out of our expectation at ALL

However, you MUST try in Malacca

Back to Jonker Street to hunt for our next dessert

If you are Durian lover, another MUST for you here

Just one bite, creamy Durian fills your mouth completely

You will never found it in Google Map, I swear..

It is actually located at one of the lorong along Jalan Bunga Raya

It was the 3rd year anniversary of my grandma left us

She brought us back and gather

Thanks to 709 - Bersih, I have earned an additional offday replacement (long story..)

Started my 3 Days 2 Nights Penang trip together with my family on 22nd July

One of our favorite food in Penang - Nibong Tebal

Steamed Sotong - We used to named it "Du Bo Sieng" in Teo Chew

Followed by...

These all is always in our MUST eat menu..

The next day was our praying day

But before everything started..Breakfast is VERY important for us

"Chai Kuih" is another MUST eat food in Jawi

Proud to be a Teo Chew

Met up with aunts and uncles and it was the first time Ning met up with them

The atmosphere was filled by the noise of Teo Chew language which made me feel..

"I'm Home"

Finally I have done my first ever handmade birthday card within 2 nights by burning the midnight oil

It's simple but I really hope Ning will love it

Coincidentally, Ning's parents came to Kuala Lumpur and we got to celebrate Ning's birthday together

A F.A.M trip to Genting Highland for 2 days 1 night has been conducted on 07 April 2011

Only those been chosen were arranged to go Genting together

And I was the one been selected from WRC - Web section

Our trip has began early morning to our first destination - Awana Genting

Sounds familiar to me but to be honest, it was my first time visit Awana Genting

Unlike hotels at Genting Highland, Awana Genting provides quiet environment

However, the temperature here....

Believe that my room is cooler than here~

After had our lunch in Rajawali Restaurant, we departed to our next destination - StarWorld

Casinos are seemed as a very important part in Genting Highland

Saw many uncles and aunties bet for their fortune

Our trip basically was visiting here and there (casinos and rooms)

However, apologize as unable to show all the hotels rooms we've visited

There are rooms which we have never know before

See how concentrate were they listen to the manager on duty

Thanks to Genting company as I able to visit VIP rooms only

The room rates can up to RM1k - 3k PER ROOM PER NIGHT

Visiting rooms can be part of our job scope

Yet, EATING is part of our life!!!

Grab a chance to enjoy our buffet dinner in Coffee Terrace Cafe

A person will be charged up to RM60++ per person for the buffet dinner

BUT...We enjoyed for FREE

Should I need to rate, I will rate Sky Venture the best, followed by Snow World and 4D Motion Master

Sky Venture is a training aid for skydivers and it becomes a fun for non-skydivers now

Here is somewhere I wish to come but the price has stopped my step

If you were between 25kg - 114kg, you are welcome to enjoy the fly

14 people of us but only 5 (including me) dare to take the challenge

Of course I cannot show you more pictures as photography is strictly NOT allowed

But I can show you my CERTIFICATE!!!

Chim Han Yi has flown of 193km/hour!!!

It was a very first time to visit Ning's hometown - JB

Coincidently I had 3 days holidays continuously

Coincidently Ning ended her exam

Coincidently it was our 300 days

So...Here we are!!!

Stepped on the newest bus terminal - Terminal Bersepadu Selatan which located at Bandar Tasik Selatan

We definitely LOVE here rather than Bukit Jalil and Pudu Station

It's the culture and has been practicing annually

As a less important character in office, I love Christmas because can receive many gifts

It was the cake that received on Christmas eve

As planned, my cousin, JeeLin was our tour guide on the first day and second day

After having more than two weeks' training

Finally being offered a permanent contract

I'm a confirmed employee under Genting Group

Sadly I owed the Government 10k and interest keep raising monthly

At the beginning, I was applying for the reservation agent

Most probably working on answering calls and reservation making

However during interview, the interviewer asked me whether I can work until 10pm or not

I respond "NO"

Because of transportation issue

I worried that I might not get any buses back or maybe have to wait LONG

Anyway, I transfered to a small section in reservation department called B2C (Web Team)

Doing similar tasks but doing reservation via internet and shorter working period

It is a small team in fact with members 7 persons including me

On 6th Dec 2010, officially I'm employed

Another BIGGEST changing on me is...

I've been "silent" for almost a month here after the post of Ole-Ole Bali

Sincere apologize due to my working routine shorten my time in fact

24 hours a day really not enough for me now

It's December..The last month of year 2010

Time goes faster than we expected...

I experienced something that I dream off

-Be a Model-

Modelling is one of my dreams for quite a long time

It's seems to be an unreachable dream and finally it became possible to me

Thanks to Esther.T and Esther.W who gave me the golden opportunity to fulfill it

I wasn't a 100% best model

I wasn't a 100% confident model

in term of my skinny body figure..

But I tried it and enjoyed it...

Of course thanks to my beloved Ning who granted me the permission to have photo session with my 'bride'

Everything had to readjust psychologically

I was nervous and rigid at the beginning

We've grabbed the attention from everyone on the road

Some even congratulated us

It's really embarrassing...

Next day after i-City, 10 of us with two cars departed toward Cameron Highland

It took us two and half hours to reach Cameron Highland

5 of us (Alvin, Lawrence, Yvonne, SaSa and ME) were the first group to get there

Luckily we can check in very early to the hotel - Titiwangsa Hotel

We were staying in a Family Deluxe Connecting room

Basically it has two separated rooms inside

Here was where the guys stayed

A Mc.D's sofa can be found here as well

After the another 5 joined us, we departed to the MUST visit destination - Boh Tea Plantation

The road is narrow and curved

It was a terror journey

It was my first time to visit Cameron Highland

Maybe I followed my parents when I was kid

But since I moved to Sabah, it was virgin trip for me to travel there

We had a rest here and enjoyed its sceneries together with bowl of tea

We had the sweetest moments within the 3 days 2 nights trip

As planned, heading to i-City after dinner in Jalan Alor

i-City is somewhere in Shah Alam and none of us know how to get there

Thanks to Malaysia's confusing signboards, we able to get there at last...

i-City is known as the city of digital lights

It is recognized at the first landscape tourism destination in Malaysia with LED technology showcase

Impressed by its colorful light-bulbs surrounded the borders

Especially the lighting Christmas trees planted row by row

Besides the modern digital lights, traditional Tanglung can be found here as well

Basically there has two connected rooms with winter and autumn theme
